Dude thanks for the help last night but I'm still screwed up...no matter what I do it keeps putting
Time as the X axis, even when the only 2 columns I have highlighted is RPM and MAF. I
ve even deleted the time column but it still uses time as the X axis....any ideas? Sorry to be such an Excel n00b

you need "x-y scatter" to get data on x-axis, then you can choose a solid line
to connect the data points.
Look at his example, he does this (but chooses "smoothed" connecting lines)

See you choose X-Y Scatter, then you have those options (the various pictures showing how the data will be connected):

Stick with just a 3rd gear run...
and you'll want to go WOT up to redline. Here are multiple of those I plotted on a single graph to compare air filters, holes in airbox, etc...
