out of the more expensive connector - I don't care if it works with any other car than my 2001 S4, have no interest in using it with other VW's or Audis that are newer...

apparently I'm not being clear - I only want to use it for my 01 S4, does that mean the 249$ USB wil
l suffice - Is there any point in buying the higher end one JUST for our car - that's my question.

yes, it will be the last audi I own... frankly, i prefer my wife drives a toyota ;P
and I have no plans of dropping the cash for new audis - I wouldn't even own this one if it weren't such a steal...

I've got one for sale for cheaper....
It's key-com and I've got a key-span usb adapter for it (which some people prefer and say is more compatible with ECUx if you plan on running that as well.) $200, hit me up if interested jibberjive at aol.com
