explanation
I have a boost leak. I've taken the car to 3 different audi dealerships to try to resolve the issue. I have gone on 3 test rides with different Techs and ALL of them *hear* that there is a problem. I have driven my friend's cars as well... they do not make the same sound as mine. Obviously there is a problem with my car.
2 of the dealerships told me that they acknowledge that there is a problem but can't find it. The Third dealership acknowledges that there is a problem but since it isn't throwing any DTC's they will not put a technician on the problem. They're basically adopting a "No DTC, no work can be done" policy. This is the closest dealership to my work and house, so i'd like the car to have a DTC or two.
good enough?

Very easy to create DTC's w/o VAG.
1. Leave gas cap off, start engine (emmisions DTC)
2. Drop clutch and stall the car (Mis-fire DTC)
3. Disconnect, re-connect ecu
4. Unplug 02 sensor, exhaust temp sensor,
These will give you some DTC's.
