VAGCOM trans reprogam
I've never used a VAGCOM before, but a local S4 owner has one and has offered to help me do the reprogram. He has a 6-sp so he isn't sure how to do it.
Do we just change the numbers to 00032? Could someone do me a huge favor and send me some screen shots of how to do this. That'd be awesome.
What I want is to be able to hold 1st gear a bit longer. Even in tip mode it shifts to 2nd so early unless I stand on the gas and I have to pull it back to 1st to hold. I'd like to have it hold at like 1/4 to 1/2 throttle so I can pull power out but not have to floor it. Makes it not very fun to drive, and I won't take it down the track until I get it to hold.
Does the 00032 fix this?
I read the stuff for B5 on Ross-Tech's site but it just says old vs new tip settings.
