vent: dealer used the wrong lugs when installing wheels
And now my ABS/Brake light is still on even after correcting the problem by replacing the bad lugs with the right ones.
Could the wrong lugs have screwed something up with the brakes or is it just a sensor/electrical issue which needs to be reset?
By the way, the dealer which did this was IRA Audi in Danvers, MA. They not only didn't use the lugs which TireRack shipped with the wheels, they used the factory lugs on one wheel and my previous wheels lugs on the other three. And they lost the $25 locking lug set as well.
Needed to vent. Pretty aggravated. Was not expecting this level of stupidity from a dealer.

oem wheels? i thought all the oem audi wheels use the same wheel lugs.
i could be wrong, but i know the lugs from my B5 S4 are identical to those on a B6 A4 with sport wheels/package.
were the wheel lugs they used too long and damage the rotors?

Yea, I watch my local tire guy
The guy goes over with an air wrench to tighten my lugnuts and gets an attitude when I tell him I'll handle it. After he sees me pull the torque wrench out of the trunk he says, "yea, we have one of those." I asked why they own one but don't use it. Apparently, you have to request that the lugnuts be torqued That's dumb!

probably cone vs. ball seat. he said he got new (non-OEM) wheels from TireRack.
