walked away from a CLK 430...
thought those were faster. in 3rd cruising at about 40... didn't bother downshifting, and walked away from him steadily... bone stock

once those cars are moving, I doubt you can walk away from it...
It got close to 290 hp and isn't that much heavier than the S4. So for a bone stock to walk away would be hard to believe.

well, actually i am 100% sure that he had his pedal to the floor mat... after i burned him, he gave a big thumbs up, got in front of me and flashed his brake lights at me... seemed pretty aware to me...

Only has about 275HP claimed 0-60 in 6.1. Plus it's an automatic.
While it is a VERY nice car it is not as sporty as an S4 the automatic is extremely smooth, so I'm sure a bit of performance is lost there. It's like a land yacht though you need a navigator in the back to tell you when the rear end has cleared a corner.

The numbers on the CLK 430 are true. I rocked one with my buddy's X-chipped car
and I raced one with my stock S4 and got beat. Off the line I rocked him, but by 3rd gear he started pulling on me. Unless I have a torn hose or Blow Off Valve, the car (CLK 430) is quick.
