washer fluid tank crack and CV Boot Joints not covered by warranty.????

I bought an extended warranty through my audi dealer (Fidelity). The cool off period has ended and I brought the car in for service. I figured that by buying it throught the woman in the dealer I wouldn't have any problems with claims. I know I even payed a little bit too much.

Basically I need new control arms, a lot of codes are getting thrown,and I have an oil leak coming out of the sides of the engine. There is also a coolant leak. These things are all supposedly covered. NY City driving will do this.

Now I am being told that the CV Ball Joints that I need are not covered. In addition, I have a Windshield washer tank leak that is also not covered. Has anyone had these last 2 things covered under your extended warranty??

It depends on your warranty company. You have to read the fine print about what is covered...

and, more importantly, what is not.

not sure with your company but audi assured was funny...when my boots tore...

they said the boot (black rubber piece) was not covered but if the joints went bad then audi would cover it...so i asked the service advisor that I'd be back in a month after the joints went bad. Never came back though since i'm still on the same cracked boots for over a year now! I don't hear anything yet so I better replace them soon i guess.
