Default Could be... perhaps there was no "missed shift" and the engine just crapped out? EDITED

I have seen no pictures and have only read a few accounts of what went down.

Exactly how would you to determine a missed shift vs. engine crapping out from a picture?!?

Default yeah, but the accounts of what happened came from ASP themselves.

I've no reason to doubt what they've stated happened.

Default They did? I was unaware that brian@AutoSpeed-gt25 and Mike2kS4::ASP are offical ASP spokesman.

Default You crack me up! There are photos, a video, and time slip, but I am sure ASP has...

better things to do then spend a hour getting them on this forum 2 days after an event so you will not base your conspirancy theory on ignorance.
I was there during the whole event including the run and yes...I do qualify as a spokesperson since I was in ASP garb working under the tent.
If the motor blew because it let go...then you would have been told such. It did not.
