Airbags are $$$ to replace (and they ususally do damage to the car when they deploy). So now if you get into a minor fender bender or bump your car into a pole or something its going to cost thousands more to repair. Good thinking.

I say screw the pedestrians... if they can't get out of the way they deserve to be hit :P
