S4 / RS4 (B5 Platform) Discussion Discussion forum for the B5 Audi S4 & RS4 produced from 1998-2002

Well, I just bought this so we'll see if I'm getting the correct amount of pressure at the caliper.

What should the pressure be?

Default I don't have it in front of me but, there is a procedure in Bentley........

that basically gives you a pressure to expect and then a procedure for holding the pedal down to make sure the pressure is consistent and not lost during the test.

You can also compare pressure between all 4 calipers to make sure it's not a line problem.

Just seems like a neat gizmo to try out and it was only ~$45.

i'm assuming you can bleed "through" those fittings? otherwise it's unclear how there won't be air?

yeah, I think you can - and I agree, if you can't, the thing would be useless.
