will be taking a lot of pictures as well to add with his instructions. Maybe this will help the next future DP DIY'er. Hoping the install will go smoothly. He's done the B6 DP install so he has some sort of prior experience. I'll be at my friends shop (Kartoys) in Fremont (near the automall) if any locals want to stop by and help out or just want to see how it goes. Email me and I'll give you directions. I'll have email access at the shop as well.

Default If I can give some advice......

I've never seen prodigy's instructions, but...

have a spare 17mm wrench handy, one that you can bend to your liking....

Don't actually remove the heatshields. Just leave them up there.

Default **Update** Install took 4.5 hours. Not bad for a first timer =) (more, sorta long))

Friend had a whole set of the flexhead gear wrenches and I didn't even use it once. Every single tool he had was made from Snap on =) We didn't start until 8:30 PM and finished around 1. I seriously don't know how people do them on jackstands! install would have only taken 4 hours but for the first half hour I was trying to remove the top 17mm nuts the wrong way!! I was using the blow torch, pblaster, you name it I did it! After swearing and cussing my friend comes over and says why are you tightening the nut? I felt so stupid. Its probably because I'm use to wrenching in front of me instead of the opposite side. Anyway, spool up is indeed more noticeable as everyone claims and I feel a VERY BIG difference in mid to high end. Pulls way harder in all gears throughout the whole power band =)Didn't use the tech section much, I didn't agree with some of the ordering of prodigy's steps. I'll be doing Fats test tomorrow to see what the improvements are.

Quick Reply: Well I'll be starting on my DP install in about an hour. I'll be using Prodigy's instructions and...
