Went to the track and Mexico this weekend to do a few runs - 10SECS4 TUNED 11.8 @ 124mph
Friday night, I met up with Derek (Tooned27 or deb38) at New England Dragway to do some runs and then had a run with a 335 on the way back.
My car was running a pump gas tune with 104 in the tank. Full weight, full exhaust, running some on 18's with cruddy Kumho Ecstas. I apologize for my terrible footage, but you can hear the announcer post the ET/Trap.
I ran about 4 or 5 times that night. Consistently trapping 120-123,I was having some problems launching that night and it was difficult to cut a good 60ft without launching at the RPM I wanted. My resurfaced FW isnt making a good conact with the clutch so at high RPM launches the clutch just slips and doesnt hook from WOT 1st to 2nd gear. The car definitely has more in it and if i could have cut a better 60ft time im sure I would of made a mid-low 11 sec pass. I guess ill have to wait till next season.
Derek and I setup a run between a new 335 that had a tune, exhaust, intake, IC pipes. The 335 was running mid 12's at 112 that night. The BMW was nice, but he had no idea what was coming...
