What`s different between free-flow and cat-back exhaust system ?

i think they are synonymous read on
the idea of an exhaust system is to relieve back pressure (hence free flow)
catback just indicates that it runs from the catalytic converter back
some exhaust systems, such as remus, aren't true catbacks even thought they say catback. Remus is usually from the center resonator back
