As far as the restart, I just figured it would be good to give it a chance to dry completely...
just in case some water got into any of the electronics or anywhere else that it shouldn't.

I did my warm (not hot) w/ orange cleaner and restarted right afterwards to
a.) make sure it would
b.) heat out gradually the water trapped inside that would remain even after a day of sitting
I encountered no problem.
