Default None. They already have PTFE going for them. [MORE]

For example, when carrying an M16-A2 service rifle in the Iraqi/Somali desert...keep the bolt assembly of the weapon bone dry. If you lubricate it with CLP or some other lubricant, it will instantly attract sand and dirt particulates. Once the sand has attached itself to the bolt assembly, you can expect the weapon to jam once you fire it. You can get off about 5-15 rounds before she freezes up. At that point, you can expect to die as the enemy uses AK-47s and SKSs which do not jam like the M16A2. Long story short, don't lube things if the lube will attract sand or dirt contaminants. You may die.

Oh, this never happened to me. I was the Cpl/Sgt slapping young Marines in the back of the head when they did things like that (only because my mentors taught me such things). =)

Default Thoughts about the seal formed by the hex/ziptie.

Most race shops sell rubber ring grommets. The grommet has a double lip on the outside and is smooth on the inside.

Placing that grommet between the hex arm and the innertube with the innertube zipped around the double lip should help to provide a good seal.
