what are the best snow tires for stock rims?

Best tire or best size (...or both)?...
Best tire is too subjective and depends on what kind of conditions you drive in. As far as size goes, 205/50 is considered to be best by some, since it is a narrow tire and cuts through the snow better. I run 225/45 LM-22s on my OEMs. I live in Denver, which is mostly dry during the winter. I have no problems on my weekly ski trips with this tire/size.
