what causes that "honking" sound that bad DVs give you?

i get some type of a honk in my current valves when letting off the gas slowly during boost. theres
a "tss tss honk". Not sure if its the same honk. Just curious what this is, and if i should adjust them to divert more air (GFB stealth fx)

are you sure its the DV's? I think DV's only make that sound upon hard shifts....you might wanna...
check your tbb as that usually gives the "honk" sound upon lettin off the gas. Check F-hose as well if you have a 2000. I recommend doing a pressure test as well to find any other leaks. Good luck
