What is the largest contributing factor to S4 downpipes/exhausts being so expensive?

they know we will pay... aka price gouging... kinda like gas. you want / need it so you pay
i think the majority of the higher end automobile tuning market is shady as hell. the only saving grace is that it is a low production vehicle. if it wasnt for that i would be one of those hardcore FATS people...
and no i dont mean "For the Advancement of The S4" type of FATS
yet people seem to forget that there are lots of 2.7t A6s and allroads, not to mention other cars that share similar stuff, all in all if you just look at the B5 S4 aftermarket it is horribly overpriced. its a huge grey area to me with so much to sway me one way or another that i try not to think about too much, hmmmm kinda like buying gas.......... weird
