Default what are people running for ride height with coilovers?

STaSIS streetsports finally arrived and I am hoping to have them installed this week. The mechanic I use seems to feel pretty strongly that the car should be lowered no more than .50", while I was thinking more in the .75" range. The car is currently stock at approximately 26.25" (front) and 26.50" (rear) and I was thinking 25.5" and 25.75" sounded good.

Any opinions? What experiences do you have with what you are running?

Default u can lower how u want. keep in mind camber & toe. ideal lowering varies...(a bit more)

from suspension setup to suspension setup (there is ideal range for each setup)

keep in mind the following as well:
-additional stress to other suspension components.
-tire wear (related to camber and toe)
-chin scraping, bumper busting, exhaust scraping, bottoming out, etc.
-rubbing

i have PSS9s and run 25.5" in front and 25.75" in rear.

i have camber and toe at OEM specs

i am also running H-sport antisway bar kit.

i love my setup. car feels more planted than i could ever want for the street. i do not track.

most folks on here seem to like 25" all around, 25.5" all around, or something around that range in front with 1/2" higher in the rear.

with my 19" sportecs, et35mm, my height gives a good aesthetic look where distance from top of tire to top of fender "looks" about the same as from point 90 degrees either clockwise or counterclockwise to the end of the fender- i.e. lowered look but not slammed.

oh and on the crappy durham roads, i have yet to get chin scrapes on my OEM RS4 bumper.

hth

take care.

Default yeah, i was wondering why you have them. what are the dimensions? (more)

if they are whatever mm x 30 mm, they could theoretically work with stock calipers.

take care.

Yes, they should work with the S4, but I will need new carriers. Too lazy, however. Thank you.
