I have Blizzak LM-22s and I love them. I down sized and got smaller wheels for the winter.

Default If you live in an area where there is not a lot of snow, the Michelin Pilot Alpins are a good choice

They are nice and stable (for winter tires) on dry pavement. I'm in Cincinnati, OH and we usually have only a dozen or so days when you actually have to drive in snow. The rest of the time its either slush or wet or about 1/2 inch of dried salt on the road. These don't seem to be the best choice for frequent, deep snow or compacted snow & ice. Hope this helps!
