Default what are the symptoms of worn tranny or rear diff mounts?

I know the high tq cars here seem to complain about this more than the guys on the A4 forum. I have something clacking under the car or possible in the engine bay on hard shift and sometimes just on hard acceleration. At first I thought the engine was knocking. A few people drove the car and it seems that it isn't coming from the motor. At least not from the motor internally. Hard to really pinpont where it's happening. Everyone seems to think it's a different location. Just looking for ideas. The motor mounts are new S4 ones, but the tranny and diff mounts have 112k miles on them. Any indeas?

Default When my rear diff mount was torn, the driveshaft-rear diff flange would hit the underbody on a hard

launch. Had it replaced under warranty and haven't had any issues since (that was probably ~60k miles ago).

Default was it a one time clunk when you hit the pedal? And the sound from the rear I would assume?

This is sort of an repetitive sound. I almost think it could be driveshaft or axle related or something to do with some part that spins. I'm really lost on this one. Shop will get the car durning the week, but if there is something I can look for....

Another thing to note is that my APR exhaust fit isn't good and the hanger from the cat to the downpipe isn't attached.

Default It would thump once or twice on the launch. Looking under the car it was obvious it was happening..

I could see the marks in the underbody where the flange was making contact.

Peek under there and see if anything looks out of place.
