Default What are the thoughts on the Electric Fan kit.

"supposedly" 10hp and a little better throttle response. Anybody try this mod...if so is it worth it? Any downsides?

Thanks

Default BTW

I had to use your sig pic as my wallpaper...BAD ***...is all I have to say. S4 vs F-14!!

So you like it for cooling...which is it's intended purpose, really! But did you notice a chance in driveability or power?

How is Evo's kit?

Sorry for the barrage of questions, man!!

PS> Where did you get those wheels? I went to Dronell's website and couldn't find them.

Thanks man.

Default AFAIK Avalon is the only place in the US that can get Dronnels

My email is down right now, but I've been working on that sig today, keep watching for changes, email me for the hi-res.

I can't tell the diff in power, but the oil temp stays lower.

Ev's kit uses the 14" fan, my kit uses the 16", I'm working on a GREAT switch....

Default Just out of curiosity -- why do you need switches. Why not hust have it always hot when the

ignition is on? Do the extra amps really pull on the alternator?

Default You want to be able to have it on when the ignition is NOT

variable speed is needed too for the loud fans

Default i did a similar conversion on my jeep cj

Actually made a big differnce going from a clutched-engine driven fan to dual electrics. I must have gained a few hp, from the 258. Aside from the loud whirring noise after it was shut off it was great. I'd consider it for the s4's.
