What's the best way to re-loacte the stock fogs to clear up the IC air flow?

Either remove them completely or leave them there.
Somebody did a test (Don P.??) with the fogs installed/uninstalled and the intake temps only changed by a fraction of a degree....
For what it's worth....

I thought about putting them on the most outer edges of the lower center grill. The point...
... is to maintain the usage of the fogs whereas looks take a back seat to functionality.

I took mine out, but I don't think it makes a difference. The real obstruction to flow is
behind the ICs. Have you seen all the stuff behind the ICs? And then the exhaust side into the wheel well doesn't seem that efficient. I always argue that the best way to increase flow would be to put in side vents (a la RS4) that actually pull air out on the exhaust side.

I agree in that the eddy behind the ICs...
... create a pressure zone that slows down air flow. A sort of air damming effect.
One fellow mentioned cutting small holes into the wheel well to reduce this eddy of air which would lessen the air damn effect behind the ICs.
Ofcourse no one has done temp readings before and after with either an external thermometer or intake charge temp gauge but its interesting in theory.
