Default What's the hose clamp of choice around here for the turbo and I/C hoses?
T-bolt or constant-torque clamps??

Factory clamps have served me well. But as soon as I detect leakage I'll get the CT clamps.

Default Lower IC hose w/ k-04s kept blowing off using stock clamps...
used the Samco clamps and so far so good (been over a month)

Default Have not seen the Samco clamps. I have a hose kit sitting in the back room.......
But I don't really trust the stock clamps with the Samco hoses (since they are shorter than the stock hoses, and don't slide over the tubes as far). Hence, the search for the best clamps!!

Default good idea to find new clamps - I'm using stock for now with the RS4 IC hoses.......hopefully,.......
nothing will pop off. But, you have the right idea to just find better ones to begin with.

I've had a clamp/hose pop off while under full boost (a lower IC hose) - feels like someone kicked the car in the ***** really, really hard - I thought I blew up my car or my KO4s blew for a second!

Default Over regular T's, yes. Spring loaded T's, depends on clearance.
The springy T's stick out a bit more. CT's offer the best of both worlds, IMO.

I use the oem Audi clamps. Work great for me.
