what's the status of stasis's rear lsd (the more reasonable $$ unit)
I think it would be wise to get the rear lsd first, then get their center diff when I need to ship the tranny to stasis for a rebuild.
I figure the center diff is great for handling but the rear lsd should help quite a bit more on the dragstrip.
The apr code update sounds very promising, so it appears I'll have extra money for the lsd this coming spring. I was saving for awe fueling kit

have both, you will notice the 4:1 more (car pushes from the rear), lsd = track upgrade ...
Stasis LSD & 4:1 + Ohlin 700/800 + Hsports + little bit of trail braking + Pilot Cup Sports = GT3 (with slicks) performance at Watkins Glen
if we could just fit larger tires under our fenders and our car was 600#s lighter

I'm going to put the 951 lsd in this winter. I think it's going to be a worthwhile addition and i
agree with you on the center. It will wait until i do another clutch or until my trans is rebuilt.

You really think the 4:1 is more useful than the LSD?...
You are one of the few to say so.
I think logically the LSD would have more of an effect. The 4:1 transfers power front-rear but only after ONE wheel at the front or rear starts to lose traction. The other wheel on that end will continue to have side-load traction as it will not have power going to it.
On the other hand, the LSD controls BOTH rear wheels. So much easier to control power oversteer with it as you are affecting both rear wheels and not just one.
I don't buy that the S4, even with all of the mods, can match the handling of the GT3. I think it is just down to the balance of the two cars.
