Default Wheel Runout Question...

Can anyone tell me how much runout a wheel can have before you can feel some sort of vibration when you drive? Does anyone know what the Aud spec is?

TIA,

John

Default

I think it's around .015" - .030". I once knew, can't remember for sure now.

Default I just bought some used Mille Miglia ...

rims and one of them has about 0.100" runout on the inner bead seat. Can I still use this rim or will the vibration be bad?

TIA,
John

Default You'll feel that, especially if you have an aftermarket suspension...

Either get it straightened or stick it on tbe back if you want a seat vibrator at 70mph or on the front if you want the steering wheel to vibrate
