when on the dyno what gear should you use?????

Default when on the dyno what gear should you use?????

mine resently got done and it was in forth gear im not sure if thats the most accurate????

Default Depends how the dyno is calibrated.

In general, if you can calibrate the dyno to measure properly, its better to do the pull in a lower gear, since dyno fans are not going to come close to simulating 100+ MPH winds. IMO, of course.

2nd, not enough cooling airflow in 4th. Use 3rd gear. It also has the added benefit of FATS data.

Default I thought the rule of thumb was to use the gear that was closest to 1:1 . . .

but what do i know . . .

I guess not much, sorry . . .

do you guys feel the hp was accurate???if it was done in 4th gear

I don't think you told us the hp and torque numbers . . ?
