pipe? I've never heard of this technique, but it sounds alot easier than gutting the pre-cat. Or am I missing something here?

waste of $$$, in that case why go with PP's in the first place if not for saving $$$?

Default I think it would be pretty cheap for a shop to do it...couldn't be more than $60.

Probably under $150 if you had them relocate the O2 sensors too.

Default Yeah I'll run right out and do it. It just seems like an easier thing to do. Surely Mr. Piggie knows

how to weld....just curious as to why he doesn't just cut and save time.

Default Look at the pipes, the Piggie way makes total sense...

Increased volume immediately after the turbo and the practical reason of the precat offering the smoothest possible transition from the turbine outlet.

He must have his reasoning, but I'm curious to see your results.

Default Obviously I have no idea where the pre-cats are in the pipe...

I was thinking if they were in a straight section, cutting them out would be the simplest solution. It sounds like they may be in a curved section, or very near the mounting point to the turbos. If so I can see that cutting would not be a good choice.
