When making Piggie Pipes wouldn't it just be easier to cut out the pre-cat section and weld in new
pipe? I've never heard of this technique, but it sounds alot easier than gutting the pre-cat. Or am I missing something here?

Yeah I'll run right out and do it. It just seems like an easier thing to do. Surely Mr. Piggie knows
how to weld....just curious as to why he doesn't just cut and save time.

Look at the pipes, the Piggie way makes total sense...
Increased volume immediately after the turbo and the practical reason of the precat offering the smoothest possible transition from the turbine outlet.

Obviously I have no idea where the pre-cats are in the pipe...
I was thinking if they were in a straight section, cutting them out would be the simplest solution. It sounds like they may be in a curved section, or very near the mounting point to the turbos. If so I can see that cutting would not be a good choice.
