Default When my k03s go bad, should i replace with k04?

If i replace my stage II tip with k04, would i have to install new plumbing for air, and would i have to get a different chip? What are the least amount of upgrades to successfully run k04s? (stage III- tip?) would i have to upgrade my tip trans?

Default put the K04s in there (you'll need inlets too). Put a MBC in parallel with your N75

to bring boost down.

Or you can get a 3- specific tune with 5-bar FPR for a little more power.

Either should be fine for your tip

Default yes, replace w/ k04s and inlets like Tim said.

you do not need to upgrade your tq converter if you're not doing fueling.

Default I don't think K04s alone would increase power any.

I'm running K04s with a Giac stg 1 chip without any problems. I don't have a MBC either. Bare minimum to do it is the inlet pipes. I know there is a place that makes them for 300 or so bucks. Maybe 034 motorsports?

Default Put K04's in there like the guys said below. Tranny can handle it with upgraded TQ converter if...

you decide to go full Stage 3 later on.

Default you're playing with fire

stock fueling can't handle 17-18psi with K04s

Default It's stock fueling with Giac chip. The boost isn't any different aside from a slightly higher spike

How is that playing with fire?

You don't have to upgrade the torque converter.

Not playing with fire. This has been done many times.

Default K04s flow a lot more air than K03s at the same boost levels

and those boost levels on K03s are already at the limit of what stock fueling can support (IDC over 100%)
