there is no 03', and the 02' arent being manufactured anymore, so your going to have to try and
find an existing one at a dealer and I dont think there are that many left out there, the 04' model will probably be released around fall of next year, good luck.

Huh? No '03? Not according to Audi.

presented doesnt mean released to the public, you might see one at an auto show at the end of the
year, but i dont think they will be available to the public till fall of next year as a 04' model, i may be wrong though :-)

Current S4; discontinued, when to buy - now or...
... you can wait for the new 2003 S4 normally aspirated V8 
Turbos are nice and fun to modify.
One questions is;
- What do you want from a car?
The current (old S4 now) is a tunning dream with simple bolt-ons (not strap-ons
available and a very very nice (us for example) following.
If however you are a no frills guy, perhaps the new S4 may be to your liking if it id indeed a non-turbo car.
I feel however that the "S" will always be some kind of fun tuner car.
A side note, any car can be tunable but for example ny 78' Scirroco with headers, bored+blue printed motor, late model tranny, updated fuel managment and nitrous wasn't exaclty a tuners car, just a tunable one.
The S4 is both.
