Default the tire is gone. was gonna put spare on but it is the old tire that is really

worn (limp it home tire). plan is to move remaining front tire to spare and get 2 new fronts. would there be a potential problem with this? do front tires have to match the rear? sorry first time really having to deal with tires especially on a awd car.

You can always purchase shaved tires. I think TireRack shaves for free.

Default Make sure you get an alignment if tires are wearing unevenly. I did that recently.

The inside of my front tires were wasted. I bought 4 more tires because of miles (40K) and had an alignment.

Default Is your car lowered? Check your camber #s when you get an alignment...

...If they are not equal (left/right sides), a good shop can adjust the subframe to equalize the camber.
