While we're discussing noises:
At 3k rpms in every gear (most noticeable in 5th and 6th, since it's there longer) i get a constant high pitched noise (*almost sounds like a mix between tire hum and turbo - its obviously not the tires, though) under these conditions:
-The gas pedal is in the position where I am not accelerating or decelerating (I'm staying at the same speed)
-I'm in neutral
If I let off the gas completely (decelerate) it stops. If I accellerate slowly, it stops.
I just noticed this recently (maybe 2 weeks ago) and it's fairly annoying, especially on a long trip with lots of highway. Unfortunately 3k rpms is 80 in 6th, and that's cruising speed. It sounds like the turbos, but was told it was loud in the back seat - although that could be an illusion. Any suggestions on what this might be? This happens even in stock mode. It still pulls strong, so there's no performance loss, it's just "there".
