I replaced mine and the problem is the flex is soldered to the board...

there are surface mounted parts and plastic stuff around the flex so you need to be careful not to put too much heat on it when removing it. The flex is also surface mount so you need to be careful not to lift any pads when removing the flex from the main board. You will also need to remove all your gauge pointers and because of that you will need to recal all your gauges when you're finished. I bought a used one from eBay to play with before doing mine which ended up taking about 3hrs.

TJ: should have gotten the MAF by now.

Also, when you're ready to start doing the clusters put in line for it please. I also have a spare cluster if you need one to practice or experiment on.
