Default I wanted to see the block of wood :-\

jk :P sounds like a fun weekend project...Did you get everything swapped over to the 2.8 heads? What did you have done to the 2.8s? Are you going with the RS4 intake setup from TB to intake mani?

Default Mark still has the 2.8 heads, i just needed to get the exhaust valves for him

@ $55 each new, i decided i'd use the old ones if they check out

yeah im gonna use an RS4 mani and throttle body, trying not to get raped too hard on price.

Default BTDT. Of course, my heads were trashed so i didn't really mind pounding a hammer into those

retainers. I imagine it felt different when you knew you were going to reuse the parts

Default only thing im probably reusing is the exhaust valves

on the head with the trashed bearings i actually had to dremel a LOT of material off to get a couple of the lifters out - when the cam machined itself into the bearing, it trapped the lifters in place nice and solid.

Ouch, sounds like a hunk of metal. Do you know how these heads met their maker?
