The is such a signifigant increase in turbo spool and peak HP not to do it. Specially considering the cost and time to remove the engine why not do it right? I am not talking about just the AWE manifold but even the MTM cast manifolds.

Default I'd say it's worth the bother...

...not everyone needs every extra pony they can get. I may just stay at my est. 390hp for the rest of the life of my car. But then again, I may finish the Stage III kit and do clutch, real downpipes, MAF, injectors, intake, etc., or I may not. I don't know if I want to put any more money into my S4 that's already scary fast.

Default I think people haven't done it because it hasn't been proven/made obvious that

there's such a signifigant gain to be had. I don't see much talk on here about manifold's...I do see ton's of talk about going K04 though.\

EDIT: I personally would like a better manifold if I were to go k04, I am waiting for the kits to materialize.

Default Ummm not everyone removes the motor anymore. I don't believe Staley removes the motor

I could be wrong but believe that the majority of the turbos swaps now a days non dealer are done with the motor in.

Default Well, since you lose that with K04's compared to K03's...

...I guess it would be nice, but honestly, do you really need boost at 2k rpms???

Default If I could have boost at 500rpm and still have boost up high I'd love it

Speaking strictly low end here...Obviously we all know the quicker we spool up the better (as long as you have the top end to back it up)

So to agree with Blitz...Yes :P

Does the new APR stage III kit include manifolds?
