Why did audi change the avus rims...?

I liked the ones that previously used to be on the S8 better. Now the S8 has rims that resemble the avus' on the S4.

Look closely, the only diff. is the center cap. Just order the older caps...

Do you know, can you get the caps from the TT with the Audi logo and the allen bolts? It looks the same (6 spoke avus).
