Why do our batteries cost so much, and are they real simple to get out?

Default Why do our batteries cost so much, and are they real simple to get out?
I charged up a dead Lexus Hybrid yesterday and it drained a lot out of my battery. My car sounds like it just cant start then it does if I touch the gas to help. The gauges like flutter getting up the whole shibang. I think the reason why it killed my battery was because of it being a dam hybrid, it was the huge lexus the long one, and it was starting in hybrid mode taking all that juice from me! *****!

Default my bat cost $100 3 months ago at dealership, easy to swap, make sure you have your radio code or
do it while engine is running, just dont touch + line to anything

Default 2nd. Very easy to do. Guy I got my battery from let me borrow a plug for the cig. lighter that keeps
the power on when you disconnect the battery for less worries...

Default Hundreds of posts on replacement batteries - cost, where to buy and part numbers - just STFA. Got
mine at Costco for under $70 with more CCA and reserve than OEM. Less weight as well.
