Why does the AWE fueling kit include spark plugs? And a couple questions...
Aren't the NGK PFR6Q stock parts?
I need to get new plugs and am thinking about AWE fueling at the next sale. But I don't want to buy the same thing twice...
Also what injectors does AWE use? Their website says "Balanced Bosch fuel injector" which is a little vague.
Is is recommended to get a better fuel pump for the AWE setup? I know some people have them, but why? And if there's a good reason to upgrade, why doesn't the AWE kit include one?
Has anyone dyno'd the new AWE setup on the crap 91 octane we have in Cali?
Thanks.

so cheapskates don't try to run their kit with old spark plugs..
I can see it now.. People install the kit but run old plugs. It runs like crap with higher boost on old plugs, and the tuner gets badmouthed for a bad kit.

Some answers...
Yes, the plugs we send are stock. Reason we send them is for the exact reason davenew stated below.
We want to make sure fresh plugs are in there at the time of install.
Also, some users try to get creative with plug choices. This can lead to running issues. We along with G.I.A.C. recommend stock plugs unless otherwise noted.
We use a Bosch 430cc injector that will provide plenty of fuel. A different fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator are *not* needed.
Also, our software is capable of being run on 91 octane. Your HP and TQ will be slightly less than a comarable 93 octane car, but it's not a HUGE difference.
I hope this helps. Any other questions, just ask.
