Why is getting the radio out of safe mode such a pain in the ***?
By the second time I tried to enter my code....I realized that my stereo had been replaced and I was using the old code. Now it says I have to leave the radio on with the key in the ignition for an hour...which is kinda hard when I just park in an unsecured lot. Is there any other way to get it done? I tried pulling the fuse, but that didn't work. What else could I try....battery?

oh man.. what a pain. You could go for an hour drive. or
pull the battery for a few mins, and while its disconected, press all the buttons on the face ( hope fully this will pull the last charges from the circuit and reset the counter. )
