Why Jim Ellis sucks...

Which one did you go to?
I've always had great service at Jim Ellis in Chamblee. I can't comment on any of their other locations. Admittedly, my favorite service Lee Wertz passed away recently so there is no telling what I'll get now.

haha....Rietzl in MA told me they wouldn't give me an inspection sticker because I
removed my catalytic converter. All I have is an APR exhasut that bolts right up to my stock catlytic converter. You can see the cat when you open the hood. Cmon....what dealer is good. I have taken my car to service to 4 different dealer so far...none admit to hearing my windows rattle, none have fixed my rattling glovebox ( I could fix this, but it's a matter of principal), none have found my c pillar rattle, Rietzl claims it's my after market suspension and Pass and Weiss tells me they had a hard time hearing it because my amp mounted under my rear deck was making too much noise. THey said it's probably my after market speaker wiring rattling back there....yeah right. Dealers just suck. Oh....and P and Weiss wouldn't align (under warranty) my car because it was too low to fit on the machine....I know a guy out of warranty who paid to have his car aligned there and his car is as low as mine. Funny how that works.

wonder how a dealer figures they can get away with that...
it's illegal, a dealer cannot simply decide who to honor a written warranty with. There is no "right" for a dealer or manufacter to not do routine maintenance to a car that has any modifications...even in cases of warranty work performed on modded cars, the manufacturer has to demonstrate the mod caused the failure.
I'd call AoA and file a complaint with the BBB and also talk to the management of the dealership.
