Ok let's think about this
In simple terms; the trans has to bolt to the motor right?
So only a car with the same style/size motor would work right?
So an A6 or allroad or even a 2.8 quattro could work but NOT a motor from a 4.2 V8
Make sense??

Doh- OK I am a dumbass. A local German autodealer/mech advertised it and said...
it would fit earlier S4's as well.
Must have had one to many Manhattans last night I guess...
