the only reason the RS^ came over is EU had a bunch of spare sedans, they were not selling
that is why we didn't get any of the avants, they are the big sellers in the EU, so the answer is a 98% no way the avant will come over, simply because the EU will want all of them.

the reason we don't get many avants here is because of less demand!
to say that there are "spare" sedans is BS too. to make a car for the US it needs different seats, steering wheel, bumpers, possibily emission equipment, etc etc etc. audi can make all the sedan and avant chassis they want, the question is: which will the US get, and how many will they make

Maybe lame but is the only reason AOA got them... EU is not going to give up cars they are selling
and we are not even at the watering down side of things. This is how, when AOA got the nod to receive the RS6. Guarantee that the Avant would of been well received if it was available and I think AOA and the dealers new it, the RS6 came over against competition that kicked it's ***, there was almost no competition for the RS6 Avant and the S6 sold damn well
