Windshield Washer tank leaks...>Common Problem...???
On saturday as I was filling the washer tank the water started to pour on the floor. Yesterday I took out the tank to find that the upper pump housing was cracked through the middle. Has anyone experienced this problem. I have seen several posts in the past of people complaining of their tank problems.

Edge Racing

YES!!!!! After searching for the leak for hours...I just pressed down on the top of the hose...
and stopped the leak...BY ACCIDENT.
It seems as though it "jiggled" loose somehow and was a simple fix.
It sucked.

Unfortunately yes. It's either a poor design or inferior parts problem. Mine failed the very
first time I ever tried to use the head light washers and emptied it's load in the driveway. The problem is so common that the dealer actually had a supply of pumps in stock and replaced it right away.
The best way to avoid the problem appears to be to not activate the headlight washer pump at all. Just don't depress the stalk for the full 5 seconds.
