it was windy today, and while driving a steel trash can suddenly blows out into the road
and hits the car in front of me (about 20 ft. ahead of me) and striks the side of the car. (i could not see but i imagine that it did some damage!). just curious-what to do if I am ever in that situation. do you contact the homeowner for not securing their trash can in such wind, consult the trash company for leaving it the way that it is so that the wind would hit it? or is it just plain bad luck and you pay for damages? just curious-these thoughts crossed my mind as I was thankful that it was not my car that was struck
