Is it worth replacing a broken bellypan with an OEM bellypan, or should I just do RS4?

Default Is it worth replacing a broken bellypan with an OEM bellypan, or should I just do RS4?

While changing my oil yesterday, it appears that something ripped off a portion of my bellypan. I figure that I will eventually get ICs, and I remember reading that there are some fitment issues with the OEM bellypan. Knowing that I have to replace it with something, is it smarter to just buy an RS4 bellypan now? If so, is it a direct replacement, or are modifications required?

Default Look at Mark@AutoSpeed's topic on RS4 IC fittings. In his post he lists how they shuld be mounted

which moves them up slightly, This might compensate for fitament with the the belly pan you describe.

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/2248853.phtml</a

I would say smoother airflow and a cleaner engine bay? Less sand and crud kicking its way up.

You're narcotic? Or did you mean "neurotic"?

Hey, a clean engine bay is a sign of a well cared for car, usually.
