Would a boost leak cause mis-fires from unmetered air or something? I thought it was bad plugs, but.

I just put in Bosch Platins a few weeks ago. Still mis-fires at idle. It went to the dealer for this and my surging (possible boost leak??). They fixed a couple of things, but I still have both the mis-fires at idle and the surging. I think that the surging is a boost leak, since I only put a couple of easy miles on my car and I already got my favorite code:

17963 - Charge Pressure: Maximum Limit Exceeded
P1555 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

So could mis-fires at idle be from the same boost leak??
