I've got the ECS Stage 4 front brake kit that has been working really well until recently i feel as though the braking is less catchy. I went to one track event at the streets of willow and have been driving moderatly around the regular streets these days... New rotors are 489.. should I go for it or do hairline fractures not affect braking performance?

The outer most holes are precariously close to the edge of the rotor (edited, pic added)- ->
odd, I think.
Mine are cross drilled (ECS Stage III) but the holes are nearly a half inch from the edge...
For comparison...

Depends on how big the cracks are. Some small cracks are normal.
When the start connecting the holes or running to the outer edge of the rotor, then you may want to consider replacing.

That depends on whether or not you would like your car...
(and your nice wheels)to look like this.

Thanks. I'm not sure what I did wrong. I tried to follow the instructions in the Forum FAQ. I'll have to try harder next time.

Thank you.
I was posting my reply to Steve Trac as he was editing his post. I promise that this is the first and only time that any of you will need to correct me on this. I will try not to flaunt my newbness too often. Thanks again.
