Default Yah, if anything I drive safer with a manual gearbox - you are more aware of your speed, and have to
concentrate on car itself and it's inputs. What a moron.

I never realized I was paying so much attention to my clutch pedal feel and engine revs that I couldn't hear emergency vehicles. LOL

Default driving a manual car stops me from using my cellphone while i am driving...so i think manual
actualy makes me a safer driver.
