Default sorta like the BBB...

I'm glad I could at least MAKE Rusnak write a letter but the satisfaction of that soon wore off.

Some place with no power of authority is of only marginally limited use and the BBB aint a little website either.

I know, my filing with the BBB got me the "Hello Customer: You're smoking crack" response.

Default yea but at least those complaints add up to something...

a business WILL get pretty upset if they lose their good standing with the BBB and only a large number of complaints will do that...we did our part.

Default Agreed...

Well, I don't know the acronyms being tossed around here, but here's my story (although not as bad as NASA's)

After about 600 miles in my S4, I noticed behind both front wheels a bunch of paint flaking/chipping. I took my car to my dealer, who just said "Oh, that's sandblasting.. No problems with the paint".

Well, excuse me? 600 miles? I've NEVER seen this on any of my other cars, no matter how hard I drive them (although I still hadn't driven the S4 hard - still in break-in!!!)

So, I call AoA and express my concern.. They did a pretty good job - the service manager at my dealer called me within an hour, and told me he'd have to get the regional rep to come look at my car.. So sit tight and next time he was in town, he'd make sure I'd have an appointment.

So after a few more calls to my dealer - and AoA - about **2 MONTHS** later I get a call, telling me that to come in in a few weeks for an appointment.. Man, what a wait!!!

So, the day arrives - finally - my S4 will soon look like new! I go to the dealer, the service manager comes out -- guess what? The regional Audi guy came down with some cold or something - and cancelled his visit. When is he coming back? Oh, my dealership doesn't know. They just know his next visit was already cancelled, so it could be awhile.

On the phone with AoA again.. And my dealer.. Ahh.. They FINALLY allow me to do this with digital photography, and they will forward the pictures to the regional rep who will take a look and authorize repairs..

Ok, so that was TWO MONTHS AGO. I'm trying to play nice guy, not bugging anyone.. Just hanging low.. Well, uh, .. ?? I think this laying low crap ends today. Time to raise some hell.

Sigh...

Default I have been dealing with/around AoA for 14 years. They suck.

There are historic reasons for some of the issues, and there are certianly good folks there, and at some dealers. But AoA operating policy sucks. Period. Audi AG needs to clean house, or bypass them.
