Default Great Idea… as long as if it didn't turn out to be an 'L' boot!

Is that car totalled or is it repairable?

Default Almost neither - look at the wheel angle

The rear wheel is pushed back and the front edge is pointing out. He hit something going both forward and sideways - like a fire plug or somewuch. Anything that hit him - assuming it was a vehicle - would have been higher and done more metal damage. Likewise if he hit something broadside, it would have pushed the wheel IN, not out/back.

Default In all likelihood, either he swiped something stationary or else pulled in front of someone...

It is of course possible that someone ran a stop sign and rammed into him from the side, but that is not nearly as likely. Side blows like this are usually caused when the car pulled out in front of someone. He could also have swiped something.

It looks like the entire frame of the car was bent, and it looks like the windshield is busted in front of the driver. If the air bag inflated and he slammed into it, do you suppose it is possible that the force of his impact transferred through the airbag to break the windshield?

This person could be in a Boulder hospital somewhere. Police records are public so if anyone really wants to know who this is you could probably find out from the police records.

Default All imformation to be posted soon, by owner

I'm sorry everyone for what has occured to my former Imola S4. It is a total. It only had a week and a halfs worth of driving before sliding off the road on 4 Mile Canyon just outside of Boulder last Tuesday night.
For all of you who were wondering, adam@impulsedigital was right, I lost it. After sitting behind a very slow vehicle for the first couple of miles, and around the set of bends immediately after the driver(woman) got out of the way the car slid right off the road with little warning at all. 30 feet in a ditch to 17ft distance in the air with a roll and landed on all fours. All three passengers and myself immediately got out of the vehicle in perfect condition except for some soreness the next two days. The passenger side seat airbag and side curtains were the only ones to deploy (I don't know if others were supposed to deploy, but they didn't).
I thought my first upgrade was going to be a chip, but after this accident, I think if I get a new one the first upgrade will be new suspension/tires (BFGoodrich g-force on stock rims, sound good?). I was also thinking about the Hibiscus Red Pearl (HRP). Does anybody know if there are any HRP S4's in CO?
Closer shots from the tow site will be posted soon. If their are any further questions, feel free to post away now that I'm on the board.
